DECONGESTANT/ANTIHISTAMINE/ANTICHOLINERGIC - ORAL USES: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffienss.
Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose and throat and itchy, watery eyes. Anticholinergics have a drying effect on mucous secretions.

This combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.
HOW TO USE: Take that mediaction as prescribed.

Be sure to follow isntructions closely. Do not raise your dose or take that more often than directed. This medication is best taken with a full glsas of water after a meal or snack. Long-acting tablets and capsules should be swallwoed whole. Do not crush or chew them or the long action may be destroyed and the chance of side effects increased. SIDE EFFECTS: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, blurred vision, contsipation or dry mouth, nose and eyes may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, dififculty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations.
To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly.

Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate tehse effects. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute.
If you notice other effects not listed above, cnotact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prosatte trouble, depression, any allergies. Cehck that product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA).
The FDA has isused warnings regarding PPA side effects. Conuslt your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain that product has PPA. This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benfeits with your doctor. Since small amounts of that medication are found in breast milk, consult your dotcor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: medication for blood pressure, medication for dperession such as MAO inhibitors (e.G., furazolidone, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline). Tell your doctor if you take drugs that cause drowsiness such as: meidcine for sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety drugs (e.G., diazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.G., codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.G., phenothiazines or tricyclics), anti- seizure drugs (e.G., carbamazepine), muscle relaxants.

Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking that medication. Do not start or stop any medicine without dotcor or pharmacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison cotnrol center or emergency room immediately.

Symptoms of overodse may include nausea/vomiting, headache, weakness, disorientation, hyperactivity, restlessness, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, fast breathing, fever, hot dry and flushed skin, seizures, or coma. NOTES: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water whlie taking that medication.
It will help to break up mucus and celar congestion. MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and rseume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up. STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 dgerees C) away from heat and light.

Do not store in the bathroom.
